We are actively looking for a Clinic nurse/adviser to join our SEQOHS (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service) accredited and award-winning Workforce Health and Wellbeing Service for Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust for 15 hours a week.

Based in Brighton, we are a nurse-led multidisciplinary team delivering workforce health and wellbeing services across Sussex.

  • Delivery of a safe and effective staff vaccination service.
  • Risk assessing sharps/contamination injuries and following the sharps/contamination management departmental procedures. Producing sharps/contamination injury reports as requested by the Sussex Community NHS foundation Trust and external partners.
  • Completion of pre-employment health assessments.
  • Documentation of clinical activity electronically using the OPAS G2 electronic records system. (training will be provided)
  • Demonstrate effective time management.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continual professional development, participating in clinical supervision and working within NMC code and Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust policies demonstrating awareness of personal accountability for own actions.
  • To monitor and maintain health, safety and security of self and others, reporting actual or potential problems that may put health, safety and security at risk.
  • Good communicator and work in partnership with other health care departments. Maintain accurate and detailed records. Manage confidential data as per the Data Protection Act 2.
