1 x Band 3 Occupational Therapy Support Worker
Occupational Therapy Support Worker within the Roving Team in the Western General Hospital.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Occupational Therapy team in the Western General Hospital.
The post will work alongside Occupational Therapists covering a variety of clinical areas including but not limited to, surgical, cardiorespiratory, critical care, and the infectious diseases unit.
Candidates should display evidence of experience of implementing functional rehab programmes, general rehabilitation skills and administrative tasks.
The individual must display excellent communication and organisational skills, competency with computer based tasks with an ability to work alone or with others.
Experience of working on wards in an acute hospital setting would be ideal.
Previous experience as an Occupational Therapy assistant or within the Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy profession would be beneficial.
The post will be working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00 pm with weekend shifts and expectation to cover bank holidays. Occupational Therapy support staff development through appraisal processes, supervision and CPD opportunities.
