The post holder will develop and implement administrative systems which will ensure the efficient and effective running of the Ward, allowing the Ward Managers to concentrate more fully on the clinical aspects of his/her job role. The post holder will also respond to enquiries from other ward staff.
The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with their ward managers, they will support their ward managers with a comprehensive range of day to day admin tasks such as staff recruitment both clinical and administrative, assisting with ward projects, arranging and attending meetings, taking of minutes , organizing staff training (both clinical and administration staff) This support allows the ward manger time to focus on their clinical duties, clinical team and patient flow through their wards.
