The role of a domiciliary care worker is a privileged position where you are helping support people live independently in their own home.
Your role will involve visiting service users in their homes and carrying out a range of tasks whilst promoting independence. You will need to be highly motivated and passionate about providing care.
No qualifications or experience are necessary when you start your role, full training and support will be given and funding is available to help you achieve your NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care..
An enhanced adult DBS check is required which will be completed for you prior to employment starting,
A flexible approach is essential for this role and hours will range between 7am and 10pm.
Your role will include:
Assist with personal care
Assist with the movement of service users
Administer medication
Maintain service user's notes
Prepare food and drink for service users
