RECEPTIONIST


We are an established organisation with over 100 years of service and a proven successful track record offering expert advice. We are seeking a receptionist to be the face of our business for our office based in the heart of York. You will be the first point of call in dealing with clients providing excellent customer service both face to face and over the telephone. The role is varied allowing opportunity to deal with telephone enquiries and managing daily administrative operations.

A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE…


  • Responding to enquiries and distributing calls
  • Arranging appointments
  • Meet and welcome all clients in to the building
  • Taking and administering payments
  • Sending and receiving emails
  • Ordering train tickets and couriers
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S
  • Working with HR and advising on staff sickness
  • Attend meetings and make recommendations.


THE IDEAL PERSON..


  • Excellent customer service
  • Previous reception/ face to face customer service experience would be desirable
  • Attention to detail/multitasking numerous duties.
  • Strong IT skills


You may have experience in addition to this which we will be happy to discuss.
