Durham Road Medical Group are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist / Healthcare Assistant - 15 hours a week.

We are a friendly 4 partner GP Practice located at 25 Durham Road Edinburgh. We provide a wide range of services to our diverse patient population of over 6000. We have a varied multidisciplinary team comprised of GPs, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and a full administrative team. We are an accredited training practice for that provide 6- & 12-month placements for doctors that want to specialise as a GP.

Our multidisciplinary teamwork in a collaborative and supportive manner.

Previous experience of working in a GP practice in a similar role is essential.

Skilled in Phlebotomy you will be keen to learn to provide a range of services to patients including Blood pressure monitoring, B12 injections, basic reviews following agreed protocols & lifestyle advice.

Supported by our Practice Nurse you will be part of our nursing team. The ideal candidate will be a team player but someone who is happy to work autonomously. While Phlebotomy skills are essential for the role, this post will involve an element of administrative work linked to clinical care where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
