Assistant Service Manager - Child Protection Service inLondon inLondon PUBLISHED 30 AUG 2024

As the only NHS Trust in London with women’s and specialist children’s services on one site we have unique opportunities to provide excellent, high-quality, integrated care for mothers, babies and children.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Assistant Service Manager to work within the Child protection Service. The service runs Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00, taking direct referrals from Health professionals & social workers. A dynamic team of highly skilled Paediatricians provide care for children across Lambeth. One of the main responsibilities for the post holder will be the day to day management of the service supported by the service manager, including but not limited to: line management of the administrative team, ensuring performance is maintained through reporting of KPI’s and directly liaising with the clinical teams to ensure we are providing safe, efficient care to the children of Lambeth
.


The post holder will be required to support and lead on service improvement projects and continuous improvement of the administrative pathways. The post holder will be required to work closely with the Service Manager and clinical leads to achieve this. Other key responsibilities include providing management support in line with agreed standards, to meet the needs of the child protection service.
