What Staffordshire can offer?
Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent is a large geographic area. There are rural and urban areas, people from a range of socio-economic backgrounds and true multicultural communities. This presents excellent opportunities for CPD, expanding clinical knowledge / skills and varied, stimulating work.
The region is vibrant and undergoing major regeneration in areas such as Stoke on Trent. During the current economic climate associated with the cost of living, Staffordshire has a lower cost of living and an affordable housing market. There are excellent transport links to scenic countryside and neighbouring cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham; there are places of historic interest; a lively cultural scene; and great schools for those with families.
With all of this in mind, the West Midlands was recently voted the second-best place to live in the UK.
