Position Healthcare Assistant

Location: Glasgow, Bellahouston Park, 20 Dumbreck Road, G41 5BW

Hours: 37.5hrs per week working on a rotational day and night shift basis

Salary: £21,510 - £23,711 per annum + 12.5% Shift Allowance

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity, based in a new purpose built home located within Bellahouston Park. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting and progressive illnesses, providing care and support for their families and carers.

If you have the ability to provide truly person-centred care for patients and families and you have a track record in acting with integrity, treating all with respect and of working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team then you will fit in well in our inpatient unit. With a focus on getting it right for every patient and every family, every time, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience further in a hospice that strives always to achieve excellence.

You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality, putting patients and families at the heart of all you do and to work as part of a team alongside our trained nursing staff.

Our inpatient unit is based within a new-build hospice providing a 21st century modern environment within the beautiful surroundings of Bellahouston Park. We offer a full staff benefits package and training and development is actively encouraged.

Previous experience of working within a healthcare setting, as well as working as part of a team in a similar role is desirable for this post.
