mbi Medical are pleased to be working with Cornwall Council in sourcing a Social Worker to join the Adult Care & Support team.

The Role

Careline requires a full-time (35 hours per week) adult social worker for a period of up to 3 months.

You will be working a shift pattern on a 24/7/365 rota, therefore a willingness to work shifts and variable hours throughout the week is essential.

Careline is the front door for all social care enquiries within the city of Liverpool 24/7.

During the daytime you will be assisting with adult duty enquiries. This will include provide advice and guidance on all adult referrals to the service, such as enquiries of a safeguarding nature, and requests for a Care Act assessment.

The service is exceptionally fast paced and experiences a high volume of referrals, hence this role is not suitable for newly qualified candidates.

Out of hours (evening and weekends) you will be dealing with crisis referrals that cannot wait until the next working day.
