As a designated Principle treatment center (PTC) for the diagnosis and treatment of cancers in children and young people.

It is essential we recruit experienced nurses that have a passion for the specialty to provide the standard of care we expect.

If you are an experienced (1 year post qualifying), Paediatric nurse we would welcome your application. Haematology/Oncology/SCT experience desirable but not essential. We provide a fantastic educational Programme.

Main duties of the job

As an experienced band 5 (1 year plus) you job will be:
  • To provide high quality care for the child and family in a safe and professional environment.
  • Family integrated care is promoted by working in partnership with the child and family.
  • All staff will be supported in order to develop professional expertise in Paediatrics Haematology/Oncology care.
  • Professional development will support NMC and mandatory requirements and meet service need.
