£14 to £18 an hour  PERMANENT 
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained.

Our service user currently has a dedicated care team, to which we are looking to expand with the right candidates. We are therefore looking for individuals who can bring additional experience and skills to the current team, and who are willing to learn new skills and are keen to get involved and not sit back.

We are looking for individuals who are active in their daily lives to contribute to our service users rehabilitation requirements.

We are also looking for individuals who are self-motivated, punctual, and proactive in all elements of their lives and can mirror this into their work.

Our service user is a gentleman in his mid-20s who lives in his family home in Harborne, Birmingham. He requires clinical support with management of his spinal injury including bowel and catheter care, support and have awareness with his autonomic dysreflexia and pain management. He requires support on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and night.

He is very focused on his rehabilitation and as part of his team you will be required to support him with this and actively show interest. You will be required to support him to attend any appointments for his rehabilitation and physio and will be required to continue this at home. Therefore, it is essential that you are able to manage the requirements for this.

As his dedicated care team, you will also play a big part in helping him to access the community and support him in enjoying his hobbies and interests such as going to the gym, going out for meals, and socialising with his friends.

During the day and evening you will be required to provide support with his personal care, moving and handling requirements, attending to his clinical care needs, supporting him to enjoy his hobbies and interests, supporting with all rehabilitation needs, as well as supporting with duties around the home and stock checks.

Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his clinical needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment and attend to any light duties where possible.

We have the following shifts available

Part Time Days- 2 shifts per week 7am - 7pm including weekends.

Full Time Nights-3 shifts per week 7pm - 7am including weekends.

Workers must be available for alternative weekend shifts.

Payrates

Weekdays: £14.00 per hour

Weeknights: £15.00 per hour

Weekends: £16.00 per hour

Bank Holidays: £18.00 per hour.
