Your passion for emergency care and trauma coupled with your great team ethic will fit right in and we want your valuable nursing experiences to enhance our team

We asked people why they love working on ED and one of the biggest reasons was that our team are like a family – we all spend a lot of time at work, so it’s great to know this is how our team feel and it’s definitely our biggest strength.

We deal with everything and anything so the opportunities for you to enhance your nursing skills, knowledge and experience is endless. We really value the personal skills, experience & qualities that every member of our team bring to us, creating our diverse, knowledgeable and very supportive team who feel motivated and able to influence the future direction of our service.

We have a variety of departmental study days such as:

  • Triage process
  • Minor injury assessment & management
  • Resus training
  • Access to CPD funding at University level
  • Acute paediatric care –
  • Major trauma training
  • Insitu- sims – taking place on the shop floor

and much more
