Ward C6 at North Manchester General Hospital of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are seeking experienced or newly qualified Registered Nurses to join our team. Ward C6 is an elective short stay surgical ward which provides care for pre operative and post operative patients that may require surgical intervention.

Ward C6 provides care for the following surgical specialities; General surgery, Urology, Orthopaedic, breast , ENT and Max Fax.

We are seeking proactive, forward thinking Nurses who have patient care and experience at their heart. You will possess adept communication skills, be motivated and eager to embrace variety in a fast-paced environment.

The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis.
