Medical PA for Palliative Carea inLondon inLondon PUBLISHED 2 JUN 2024

The post holder will work with a variety of clinical, medical and administrative teams within the Trust and will be responsible for providing high level, comprehensive secretarial and administrative support for the Palliative Care department. The post holder will need to enjoy a busy and varied workload and have the ability to prioritise their duties effectively.

  • To be the first point of contact for incoming calls Monday-Friday 8:00-18:00.
  • To ensure all incoming calls are triaged appropriately using the traffic light scale and are escalated appropriately.
  • To ensure the team is notified of any patient deaths.
  • To be able to complete the daily task list.
  • To be able to coordinate the out of hours on call rota and updating switchboard.
  • To monitor the palliative care teams NHS.net and upload appropriately.
