The post-holder will have to provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service for the Lead Nurses and Senior Charge Nurses in Theatres and Critical Care at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.


This is a 37 hour post, worked Monday to Friday although we can accept a minimum of 28 hours. This will be discussed with the successful candidate.


The successful candidate will be joining an administration team providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to Lead Nurses and nursing staff in Theatres and Critical Care Unit.

The post-holder will have to provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service for the Lead Nurses and Senior Charge Nurses in Theatres and Critical Care at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The secretary must have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff including management, clinicians, nurses, coordinators and administrators.
