On a day-to-day basis the post holder will be in a close working relationship with the Home Treatment Team.The team has two subgroups made up of Clinical Leads, Senior and Junior Nurses, Social workers, Recovery Workers and has access to psychology. There is a close working relationship with the Neighbourhood Mental Health teams and Inpatient Units as well as with other specialist services.
The post holder will have a close working relationship on clinical maters with the multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with the Home Treatment Clinical Leads to maintain ongoing communication with the Inpatient, Crisis Team, Liaison Team and Community Services in order to promote a safe a seamless service. Senior medical support is available from a Consultant psychiatrist based within the same team.
On a more strategic level they will relate to the leadership and management structures of the Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Service Delivery Unit.
From an overall operational perspective, the post holder will be accountable to the Clinical Directors and professional responsibility will relate to the Medical Director, all are ultimately responsible within the Trust to the Chief Executive.
