The Haematology Department currently has a vacancy for three Biomedical Support Workers to work during our busy evening period.
This is a very busy time for the Department and the successful applicant should be able to work under pressure and have good communication skills.
The main duty is to assist the Biomedical Scientist staff in the area of sample reception and sample preparation.
Applicants should have a minimum of a scientific qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2 and must have previous experience of working in a hospital laboratory environment. IBMS Accredited Biomedical Science Degree Students will also be considered for interview.
