We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a temporary Online Rota Coordinator, working 20 hours per week. You’ll be the main point of contact for all SMI Staff.Care rota system queries, working mostly on site at the Hospice.

You will support and train staff, update leave on the rota system and Iris Cascade HR system, arrange sickness cover and produce rota reports.

You will be the main contact for SMI and Iris Cascade during work on an interface (API) between the two systems.

This role is temporary for twelve months, during which time you will support the Hospice in assessing the requirements for long-term rota support after the API has been established.


The Successful Candidate Will Be


  • Experienced in providing high quality systems support and training
  • Highly organised and efficient, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and confident working independently
  • Flexible and used to adapting to changing priorities and multi-tasking
  • Able to assess future rota support needs and make recommendations for process change and system development.
