A long-standing independent practice in Bedfordshire is looking to expand their team after moving into new premises, salary up to £70,000!
A long-standing independent practice is looking to add another experienced vet to their team after moving into bigger premises. You will be working alongside five other vets, including an Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging. They are also keen to encourage you to follow your own interests, and if you want to take on certificate or expand your skillset in a certain area they will provide the guidance, caseload, and funding to support this. You will be supported by four RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 1 VCA. And you will get chance to bond at frequent social events, including pizza and prosecco nights and punting on the River Cam.
The practice is an ISFM Accredited Cat Friendly Clinic, and it is very well-equipped with an ultrasound with cardiac capability (4 probes), DR Radiography including Dental Radiography, a full Idexx Lab in-house, K-Laser, Bronchoscope, Gastroscope, Rhinoscope, Arthroscope, and Laparoscopy. If you're a keen surgeon you will also have the opportunity to perform orthopaedic procedures in house.
Key Duties
- Flexible on rota, can offer full-time, part-time, and flexible hours.
- Full-time equals 4-day week.
- 1/3 Saturday mornings (
- Fixed break between 2pm - 4pm to guarantee you the time to have a proper lunch break, make phone calls, and catch up on admin.
- 20 Minute consults as standard.
- No OOH (covered by VetsNow)
