Your day in the life of a Healthcare Assistant:


As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will work alongside a team of qualified medical professionals within the Dermatology discipline, across both Worcester Acute Hospital and Kidderminster hospital.


Your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:


  • Organising the examination spaces for the clinician and the patients
  • Chaperoning during patient consultations and procedures
  • Monitoring the inventory and equipment ensuring that stock levels are being maintained
  • Assist clinicians by handling patient data, ensuring all patient records are completed accurately
  • Transcribing consultations and procedure notes
  • Strictly adhere to infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment for patients and staff
  • Booking and confirming patient appointments

Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns generally fall between 07:00-18:00.

Our Clinic locations are nationwide and include Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw. This is a mobile role and you will be expected to travel to any of these site locations.


Requirements:


  • MUST HAVE a Driving License and own vehicle to travel between the two hospitals and across HealthHarmonie clinic sites nationally as and when the business requires.
  • Previous experience in administration is preferable but not essential
  • IT literate with proficiency in using computer systems and software
  • You must show a great passion for providing high-quality care and take pride in your work

You will be enrolled on our 2-week comprehensive training course from day 1 of your employment, which will equip you with all the skills and knowledge you require to fulfil your duties as a Healthcare Assistant.

The position is subject to a successful disclosure at the appropriate level from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to work documentation.


What we offer:


  • Full time, permanent contract
  • Monday to Sunday (Covering 5 days per week)
  • 40 Hours per week (including travel time)
  • Starting salary: £24,500
  • Salary incentive scheme increasing salary up to £26,000 per annum on completion of additional specialty training
  • Travel Allowance: 45p per mile when traveling outside of your base location
  • Ongoing Support and Training - a chance to progress to NVQ Level 3
