We are looking for a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work in our Maternal Mental Health Service. You will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to women presenting with mental health needs during and after pregnancy.

Based in Oxford, covering the county of Oxfordshire and working alongside the Perinatal Mental Health Team, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a skilled and supportive team. The role has strong links with local Maternity Services and wider Perinatal networks.

You will provide specialist psychological assessments and treatments to patients referred to the service. Working alongside a range of other professionals, you will provide specialist psychological advice and consultation regarding formulation, diagnosis and treatment. You will inform risk assessment and management plans as well as planning and reviewing care plans. There are opportunities to further develop the service, in line with the NHS Long Term Plan and recommendations from the Birth Trauma Enquiry. This will involve evaluation of the service and service development as necessary. We are looking for a skilled clinician who can engage in and provide clinical supervision to psychological therapies colleagues as well as practitioners from other clinical backgrounds.
