One of the largest NHS trusts in the UK is looking for an enthusiastic Band 2/3 Healthcare Assistant with experience to join our reputable multidisciplinary team.


Description:
Healthcare assistants provide care to patients in an inpatient environment. You will be required to participate in a 24-hour internal rotation, working various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, nights, and long days. Other responsibilities may be assigned in line with the position's grade.


As a Healthcare Assistant, You Will


  • Work as part of a team to care for local patients and families
  • Monitor the quality of care provided
  • Offer feedback to managers on the quality of care


Skills/Experience


  • Experience in PICU is preferred
  • Experience in a health or social care setting
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in a community environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Moderate IT skills
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Experience with Rio is desirable
