Across the NHS everyone is working hard to meet growing demand and we’re no exception.
An amazing new job opportunity has arised to cover maternity leave cover to work as part of the Elective Obstetric Theatre Team at Croydon University Hospital Maternity. We are looking for two Midwives to join this team as part of a transformational project to improve our operative theatre lists within Maternity and patient experience. We are looking for a Midwife who is interested in pre/post operative care and interested in working set shifts four days a week 07:00-17:00 . The role will also involve providing midwifery care when the elective lists are not running and you will be required to support Maternity unit as a Midwife in less busy periods. We are committed to reducing health inequities, and disparities for all of our BAME and vulnerable women, knowing the impact on outcome and experience that not having a voice or feeling listened too can have for any woman, particularly those that do not speak English.
We provide care to a diverse group of women and have a duty to ensure that these women have early access to non-discriminatory care with an MDT that promotes advocacy, empowers and believes that all women have a choice irrespective to their ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, religion, culture and ability to understand and speak English.
We have two Midwife vacancies to join our obstetric theatre team as an elective Midwife working 07:00- 17:00 4 days a week and no weekends.
