We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Assistant Clinical Psychologist to join the Buckinghamshire Chronic Pain and Fatigue Management Service.

This is a well established interdisciplinary service working with people with a wide range of chronic pain conditions and ME/CFS. You will support the work of clinical/counselling psychologists and other members of the team, providing interdisciplinary assessments and chronic pain and fatigue management programmes.

You will be provided with regular supervision and support from experienced clinical psychologists. Good communication and team working skills are essential, but you do not have to have had prior experience of chronic pain and fatigue management. You will be based with the teams at our offices in Aylesbury and Amersham.

To support the work of Clinical Psychologists providing a specialist service to persons with chronic pain and fatigue. Specifically to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care; providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the service’s policies and procedures. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
