Prospero Health & Social Care are looking for experienced Child Residential Support Workers to engage in a respected client to offer the very best support and care to service users at this designated care unit in Swansea. Applicants need to have 12 months plus UK experience in Health & Social Care within the last 3 years, and be able to drive cars for this role if required.

Working with young service users, the role entails maintaining the health and care of clients throughout the day and night with engagement, activities and the promotion of independence at all times. Although at times service users can display elements of challenging behaviour, staff must be prepared to deal with this in a calm, professional manner to ensure that the highest levels of service are adhered to and followed.


Requirements


  • 12 months UK experience in Health & Social Care in a live environment. Sadly we cannot accept applicants that don't have this.
  • The ability to drive vehicles legally in the UK
  • Social Care Wales Registration preferred but not essential, can apply on your behalf
  • NVQ qualified preferred
  • An engaging nature and confident to work with children in sometimes stressful situations
  • A flexible approach to working hours as and when required with offering regular availability
  • HAVE TO BE UK RESIDENT
