A rare and exciting opportunity has become available to work as part of Tayside Sexual and Reproductive Health Service as a Healthcare Support Worker.Tayside Sexual & Reproductive Health Service is a strictly confidential and friendly service working to meet the Sexual & Reproductive Health needs of anyone who lives in Tayside We are looking to recruit a person who is committed to the provision of safe, effective and person-centred quality care.You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for a range of delegated clinical duties and administrative tasks as required across all teams within the service.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and to work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
