We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician, to work with the Lead Pharmacist for Community Pharmacy Development.
This job will provide an exciting opportunity to help support community pharmacy contractors across NHS Lothian to deliver the pharmacy contract and develop other pharmaceutical care services, with a particular focus on community pharmacy IT systems, locally and nationally.
The postholder will also play a key role in supporting education and training, data analysis and service evaluation, linking in with the wider healthcare and management teams.
With an HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management or ability to demonstrate equivalent skills and experience (should be evidenced within application), and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council, you will possess excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. You will be required to work autonomously as well as part of a team and a commitment to developing and improving services, systems and processes is key. This post will require PVG Scheme Membership.
Experience of working in Community Pharmacy or Primary Care would be an advantage. The postholder will also be expected to support the training and supervision of members of the pharmacy team.
