An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic Band 6 District Nurse Caseload holder to join Swansea Bay University Health Boards District Nursing service.
The post holder will be a motivated, reflexive practitioner and will be a key member of the District Nursing Team, working closely with the team in the provision of high quality, holistic care.
Applicants must hold the Diploma or BSc in Community Health studies or currently working towards, be a nurse prescriber and have a commitment to continuous professional development. If working towards, position subject to successful completion of required qualification.
The successful applicant must have a flexible approach to the needs of the service and be motivated and enthusiastic in order to embrace the changes required to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
They willhave operational responsibility and clinical accountability for the management of a defined caseload, provide clinical direction, leadership and management and provide cross-cover when required,
The successful applicant will possess well developed leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate individuals and the team. You will need to be an excellent communicator with sound clinical skills and the drive and determination to contribute to the delivery of high quality nursing care and outcomes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
