Band 6: £35,392 to £42,618 a year (Pro-rata for part time) - pay award pending  PERMANENT

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing specialist specialist high-quality person-centred care which always considers peoples safety, privacy and dignity using advanced clinical knowledge that is evidence based.
  • The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of appropriate treatment, screening and advice to patients within their professional competence and in accordance with Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Providing expert clinical advice, leadership and support ensuring the needs of the service are met by exercising and demonstrating high levels of clinical judgement, critical analysis and decision-making skills.
  • Undertaking technical nursing treatments and procedures for patients complex/specialist healthcare needs (e.g. wound care, sutures removal, electrocardiogram (ECGs), Cytology, Audiometry, Ear Care).
  • Coordinating the development of plans to meet the health needs of patients including diagnostic tests; treatment plans, health promotion and prevention.
