An opportunity has arisen for an Audio Typist within the Neurophysiology Department at York Hospital.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work effectively using their own initiative, as well as being part of a team. They must be a proficient Audio Typist with the ability to transcribe complex digital dictation.
The successful candidate will posses GCSE English Language, Grade C or above, or equivalent. They must also possess excellent typing skills or RSA II level qualification as well as previous clerical/administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer based setting.
Please Note: The position is for 18.75 hours per week.

Duties will mainly include the audio typing of outpatient/admin letters and reports, and dealing with any subsequent instruction as indicated by the dictation such as making outpatient appointments.
