We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated Physiotherapists to join our the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy service. Join Sirona and engage to provide the best quality of care using a variety of different rehabilitation options and treatments.

When you join our friendly team you will have your own clinical caseload treating and rehabilitating patients, face to face both in a clinic and in a gym setting. The team has a fantastic induction, supervision and training framework in which you will participate. We believe developing good clinicians within a dynamic and enjoyable team environment is the best way to deliver an excellent and efficient service.

The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner within the MSK Physiotherapy Service to provide comprehensive assessment, clinical diagnosis, design and delivery of evidence based treatment plans for patients with highly complex and diverse presentations.

This includes the responsibility to seek advice as necessary from the Physiotherapy team. To consolidate and develop skills, previously learnt as an undergraduate and newly qualified physiotherapist, and to develop new skills in a variety of musculoskeletal settings.

  • To be competent in assessing a wide range of conditions based on comprehensive theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology.
  • Carry out a physiotherapy intervention drawing upon wide ranging evidence base and problem solving professional knowledge and skills.
  • To evaluate relevant information regarding all aspects of patient care to develop a clinical diagnosis, prognosis and expected response to treatment.
  • To agree the treatment plan and goals, with the patient, and to continually re-assess their response, in order to progress treatment effectively.
  • To recognise potentially sinister signs and symptoms and contra-indications to treatment from the assessment and to manage these appropriately. This may involve referring discussion with senior clinicians and referring onwards.
  • To advise and educate patients, carers, relatives and employers as part of the physiotherapy intervention. To have a working knowledge of other health and social care disciplines to facilitate this.
  • To keep accurate and comprehensive written records, to include progress and discharge reports to medical referrers, adhering to standards to comply with professional and legal accountability.
  • To maintain your own competency to practice by providing evidence of continuous professional development in the form of a portfolio, which includes the identification of learning needs through reflective practice.
