The Junior Sister / Charge Nurse will have a delegated responsibility for the operational and management issues in the authorised absence of the Senior Sister, and take on the leadership aspects of the role through quality improvement and assurance as agreed.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated junior sister to join our our Trauma, Orthopaedics & Plastics service.

The Junior Sister / Charge Nurse holds an integral role as part of the Nursing team by actively taking part in meeting the needs of patients, teams, and the service in accordance with agreed standard under the supervision of the senior leadership team. The role has a delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical areas including assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards on a shift basis. The role will include participation in innovation and evidence based nursing practice through professional leadership and supporting the clinical team in close liaison with Senior Sister and Senior Nursing leadership team.
