The Trust works across hospital sites and within the local community, striving to be a leader in improving health and wellbeing locally, nationally and globally. It is the only mental health Trust in the UK to have its own biomedical research centre. Internationally, the Trust works with Macani Medical Centre, an Abu Dhabi based organisation, to bring quality health care to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The Children Looked After Mental Health Service (CLAMHS) is part of Lambeth Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). They are a team that provides assessment, care and intervention for children and young people, up to the age of 18, who have mental health difficulties. The service cares for children and young people who are looked after by the London Borough of Lambeth.
