We are seeking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Full-Time Band 2 Care Assistant in the Children’s Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Unit. We are a very friendly team who are passionate about providing excellent care for Children and Young people and their families.

We offer a full range of education opportunities internal and external to maintain your continued professional development (CPD), including learning new skills in Venepuncture and Cannulation, Care Certificate.

We want someone who is driven and can offer the best possible experience children and young people can have in the hospital setting.

Our Children’s Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Unit caters for all disciplines within the Child Health Department and offers opportunities to work alongside teams offering a truly multidisciplinary approach to health care including nurse led clinics, supporting Specialist Nurses, Services are provided cross site within the CCG.

This vacancy is linked to a Level 2 Apprenticeship. This will support you to gain relevant knowledge, skills and experience that will help you achieve your potential in this role. Working alongside the Trust’s experienced staff you will be supported to gain the apprenticeship qualification and functional skills in maths and English if required. This is a great opportunity to gain a national recognised qualification while you are working and earning, which will support you in both this role and in your future career at Frimley Health.

You will not be required to undertake an apprenticeship if you have previously completed a relevant apprenticeship, NVQ or similar qualification.
