Public Dental Service –Dental Officer (Band A) 37.5 hours per week, part-time working also available. Primary Bases Motherwell Health Centre


We are offering dentists the opportunity to get involved in truly varied and interesting work as a Public Dental Officer. We will provide a supportive environment where continued professional development is actively encouraged.

In return, we are looking for you to join us as an enthusiastic and conscientious member of our dental team. Lanarkshire Public Dental Service provides care in health centres, hospitals, care homes, and on a domiciliary basis. The duties of the post involve providing care for priority group patients, particularly vulnerable children and adult patients with special care requirements who need additional support. You will also be involved with providing care to patients within both the State Hospital and HMP Shotts.

The posts will be primarily based at Motherwell Health Centre, though duty will be required at other sites. Full time posts are 37.5 hours per week, part time will also be considered.

The opportunity exists for the successful candidates to develop their skills in specific areas of clinical interest.
