Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Salisbury


In Salisbury we have a strong dedicated team who work across our supported living services . Our staff provide support for people living in the community and for those who live in our 24- hour services. We have permanent full time and part time posts available (37.5 hours a week). Being a driver isn't essential, but is preferred.

We support a mixture of both females and males ranging between the ages of 40 – 70. All the people we support attend their own individual clubs, activities and day centres. They all enjoy doing a range of activities such as cycling, swimming and regular day trips out. Everyday is different, which is what is great about being a Support Worker at our service in Salisbury. You will support with daily chores and tasks and some minimal personal care when needed.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.


What We're Looking For


  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
