This post is open for those who are newly qualified, or those completing their training with a view to completing their degree and obtaining registration. We are looking for a Dietitian (Band 5) to join our service, with good communication skills and a high degree of enthusiasm, flexibility and commitment. You should have experience of working with the MDT as part of your training, or clinical or leadership placements.
This is an ideal opportunity for either a new graduate, or for staff who have experience of working in a band 5 role. The opportunity to gain experience in specialist areas (e.g. gastroenterology, nutritional support, renal, stroke / neurology and diabetes) is planned along with the ability to work alongside other professionals as part of MDT working. The service is co-located with Speech and Language Therapy in a large open plan office and has links with other AHP services.

The hospital has two main bases at Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals. There is an excellent postgraduate centre at Arrowe Park Hospital and the Trust is supportive of personal development.
The successful candidates should have experience of working in the NHS as a student, or qualified Dietitian. You will be involved in the training of students on B and C placements, healthcare professionals (such as clinical support worker training) and patients (such as pulmonary rehabilitation sessions). As part of your CPD their will be opportunities to attend internal and external study days.
