What might it look like to work here?
Stand by, we'll show you...
For someone to assist me in doing these things, they need to be fairly fit and strong to carry my small wheelchair up and down a couple of flights of stairs to my flat (I can manage the stairs alone slowly), and wheel me around town, or get me and my wheelchair on the bus - with breaks for coffee and lunch etc - throughout our time together.
I’m looking for someone for to take me out in my wheelchair every Wednesday for about 3 hours.
Before my stroke in 2021 I was a very active person - walking my dog (who I had to sadly give away), practicing yoga, visiting friends etc. Now, I still love to get outdoors to visit the park, galleries/museums, mooch around the shops, run a few errands, have coffee, lunch (I’m pescatarian), and meet friends and new people.

I’d really like someone friendly, intelligent and ideally interested in similar things as me, or at least willing to accompany me in doing the things I enjoy.
