Responsibilities
Conduct preliminary patient examinations to assess the patient's condition.
Refer patients to other departments such as osteopathy, radiology, and cardiology.
Receive patients from Paramedics and take over their care.
Share information and updates with family members.
Analyze test results.
Take detailed and accurate notes.
Apply dressings and administer pain relief, antibiotics, and other medications as required.
Complete all necessary discharge paperwork.
Maintain care standards in accident and emergency.
Requirements
Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
Minimum of 6 months experience in an ED department.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
