Responsibilities


  • Conduct preliminary patient examinations to assess the patient's condition.
  • Refer patients to other departments such as osteopathy, radiology, and cardiology.
  • Receive patients from Paramedics and take over their care.
  • Share information and updates with family members.
  • Analyze test results.
  • Take detailed and accurate notes.
  • Apply dressings and administer pain relief, antibiotics, and other medications as required.
  • Complete all necessary discharge paperwork.
  • Maintain care standards in accident and emergency.


Requirements


  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in an ED department.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
