FCAMHS NW is a specialist community mental health team commissioned by NHS England based on the Prestwich site. The team works with young people up to the age of 18 who present with complex needs and high-risk behaviours.
Applicants are invited for the post of full time Team Secretary. Applicants must demonstrate secretarial experience and be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications. Experience in using an electronic patient system would be beneficial but not essential.
We require a highly motivated, dynamic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, who has an interest and positive attitude to working with adolescents. Experience of working within an adolescent community mental health team would be desirable.
You will have an organised and flexible approach, with the ability to prioritise your workload and relate to all types of people. Your excellent IT and interpersonal skills will also ensure that you’ll have no trouble fitting into this busy, interesting role.
We are interested in hearing from all those who have the required qualifications and experience as listed in the person specification attached.
The post is based with the FCAMHS NW Team at Prestwich although there may be a need to work from a different base but this will be within the Trust footprint. There is a need for working flexibly throughout the Network as required.
To be an initial point of contact for the service and respond to all enquiries in a professional and sensitive manner, and to provide a responsive and comprehensive clerical and secretarial service to a designated professional team.
The Team Secretary will undertake general office duties including typing of minutes, reports, other correspondence, actioning any requirements identified within the typing, diary management and dealing with telephone enquiries from both internal and external agencies.
This role will be responsible for the effective coordination to track all service users from referral to discharge ensuring all appointment and correspondence are within local and national targets.
