An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse in Rheumatology to join our infusion team where we treat patients with a variety of rheumatological conditions who receive intravenous treatments, namely biologics, bisphosphonates, steroids and occasional cytotoxic drugs.

If you are a registered Nurse, with an interested in looking after patients with long term conditions ; have good communication and organisational skills, along with the enthusiasm and drive to improve patient care for this group of patients, then you could be just the person we are looking for.


We would welcome applicants seeking a secondment


You will be part of a small team and help deliver the infusion service to all rheumatology patients and occasional patients from endocrine, dermatology and respiratory medicine. The clinic runs 4 days a week and the shifts will be on a long day rota system. As well as providing the infusion service you will also be required to provide advice to the service users and assist in the day to day running of the service. You will be part of the wider rheumatology team who pride themselves on excellent patient care.

Venepuncture and cannulation skills would be advantageous but on site training can be provided.
