Our client is seeking to recruit
Qualified Social Workers
in their Locality Team. These are all Permanent placements that offer a great amount of support.
The successful candidates must have robust safeguarding, child protection experience and be confident with court proceedings. As a child protection social worker, you must be flexible and able to work under pressure. Due to the nature of the role candidates must have front line post qualifying experience in child protection services. A degree in Social Work is essential for this role, as well as excellent skills in assessment and the ability to write concise records and reports. You will be a good team player, have excellent communication, organisation skills and IT skills.

Responsibilities Of You As The Locality Social Worker
- To work with individuals, families, carer groups and communities to help them make informed decisions, enabling them to clarify and express their needs and contribute to service planning.
- To assess, identify, plan, implement and review the circumstances of individuals and their families and the need for procedural and legal intervention to meet their immediate needs.
- To work independently of direct support e.g. attendance at court, child protection case conferences without the presence of a team manager.
- To assist in practice development and special projects within the team.
- To manage and prioritise the workload, carry out duties using accountable professional judgement.
Requirements Of You As The Locality Social Worker
- Social Care Wales registration
- A recognised qualification in Social Work
- A full UK driving licence
- DBS clearance
- Authority to work in the UK

Salary scale:
£43,223 - £47,403
d.o.e. (inclusive of £5000 yearly supplement payment)
