Healthcare Improvement Scotland has a range of exciting opportunities for talented Administrative Officers to join our team.

As the national improvement agency for health and care in Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland supports improvement in front line care as well as leading on larger scale changes necessary across Scotland. These roles will support the delivery of various national workstreams that impact on the way health and care is delivered across Scotland.

As An Experienced Administrator, You Will Provide a Range Of Services To Support Individuals And Teams Across The Organisation To Support The Smooth Running Of The Day-to-day Business, Which Can Involve

  • Responding to enquiries and information requests
  • Supporting teams, meetings and events (online and in-person)
  • Circulation of meeting papers and recording actions
  • Taking minutes of meetings, tracking progress of and updating action points
  • Processing system transactions (such as purchase orders and invoices)
  • Liaising with internal colleagues, senior managers and external stakeholders

Successful candidates will have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage competing demands and be comfortable working on their own, as well as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and online tools such as MS Teams is required to support hybrid working.
