The Main Outpatient Team would welcome applications from Health Care Assistants who enjoy working independently and working within a team in being instrumental in providing patient focused care. This is a part time role of 24 hours per week over three days. The shift pattern will vary over these days to meet the demands of the service. .
The successful candidate will join a well-established team and will need to be flexible and adaptable, a good team player with the ability to work well on their own initiative and willing to take on a variety of duties, whilst having the ability to maintain attention to detail.
Within this role, there are numerous learning opportunities. We offer a supportive working environment and we are committed to the development of our staff.
We ask that candidates applying for this post have a current NHS Care Certificate and a Health and Social Care Qualification at Level 3 with current secondary care experience.

Highlighted below are some of the nursing skills needed for a fast-paced working area such as Outpatients:
If you do not already possessall required skills, additional training will be given to support you in this role but this may initially be at a Band 2 until all Band 3 competencies have been achieved.
