Manorcourt Homecare is the homecare services division of Healthcare Homes Group, specialising in delivering a range of care packages to people who wish to remain in their own homes.
We are passionate about providing truly person-centred care and support services that are fully tailored to meet the individual needs of each and every person requiring an in-home care package.
Our live in care team are required to deliver a high standard of person centred care, administering and recording medication where required and maintaining the welfare of the individual(s). You will be required to live with the individual(s) full time on a rolling rota basis between 2 and 6 weeks at a time.
We are looking for naturally caring, warm-natured and reliable individuals with strong communication skills who are committed and above all display the passion to help others maintain their independence, dignity and self-respect. As you will be living with the individual it is essential you respect both them and their property and honour their boundaries and choices at all times.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 6 months experience delivering personal care
Flexible approach to work and the ability to manage, priorities and work to deadlines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrate an ability to ensure confidentiality
Ability to work on own initiative
Level 2 health and social care diploma / apprenticeship framework is desirable but not essential as an opportunity to undertake this course will be available
