The pre-op team are looking to recruit a reliable PCO on a permanent basis.
You should be organised and well-motivated with a mature approach to your work. Good oral and written communication skills are essential, and you should be able to work well within a team. Candidates would need to possess excellent organisational skills, can prioritise their workload as well as demonstrate excellent administrative skills.

The purpose of this post is to provide a comprehensive administrative service within the Anaesthetic Pre-op service.The post holder's main duties will include planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the work of the department, completing data collection activities, audits and act in a supervisory role for junior admin staff.The Pathway Co-Coordinator will be expected to work with the minimum of supervision. He/she will be able to demonstrate flexibility and use own initiative to carry out duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation, thus enabling the Consultant and his/her team to utilise their time in an efficient and effective manner. The post holder will provide a confident professional service to all patients and their parents, whilst supporting them throughout their pathway of care. It is vital that confidentiality be maintained at all times. The post holder must adhere to Trust Policies and Procedures at all times.
