Role
We are seeking a dedicated
Mental Health Practitioner
to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
- Collaborate with clients and families to develop personalised treatment plans
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking mental health assessments and accurately risk assessing risk to self, others, and from others
- Formulating and hypothesising with the client and family
- Sharing formulation with the MDT
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to less complex cases
- Supporting the wider team with duties
- Participating in team meetings
- Working alongside psychiatry, psychology, nurses, creative therapists, social workers
- Participating in opportunities to learn and develop
Qualifications And Experience
- Qualified in a core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional) and Professional Registration with a recognised National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England)
- Experience in providing mental health therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
