In this role you will:

Undertake MRI scanning, producing images of a consistently high quality, adopting a right first time approach.

To use a range of age-appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with children and their family/carers and others involved with the childs care in order to achieve a successful examination.

During periods when the receptionist is unavailable: to receive the patient and accurately enter the attendance on the Radiology Information System (RIS).

Liaise with clinicians, ward staff and patients concerning preparation for imaging and patient management, ensuring that the patient pathway operates effectively.
