STUDENT Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) sponsorship.

  • To fulfil the requirements of the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing programme by attending university course dates and practice placement days in accordance with university regulations
  • To work with the service, practice assessor/supervisors to develop the skills and competencies to achieve NMC Registration Standards for Specialist Community Practice
  • With the support of the service, practice assessor / supervisor, to link the theoretical knowledge gained through the university programme to the practice situation
  • To demonstrate an understanding of current and emerging national, regional and local healthcare legislation, policies and guidelines as they pertain to chosen pathway
  • To develop/build on skills of caseload and team leadership and management

Criteria:


You must be a qualified nurse/midwife with active registration on part one, or part two of the NMC Nursing Register (NMC PIN number should be provided within the application)


Must hold a 2.2 or above in a Nursing Degree (Level 6)


Ability to study at level 7
